We are now looking for a production technician for our client in Västerås! Is this you?

As a Production Technician, you will have the opportunity to work closely with production and contribute to the development of production flows through analysis of times, capacity, and resource utilization. The assignment provides a practical insight into industrial production and how data is used to make informed decisions.

In this role, you will create a basis regarding production times and capacity that can be used for planning, improvement work, and future development of production flows.

• Conduct time studies in production
• Document cycle times, setup times, machine times, and waiting times
• Compile and analyze collected data
• Perform capacity calculations for stations, lines, or flows
• Identify relationships between occupancy, flow, and capacity
• Present results and conclusions clearly
• Documented time studies
• Compiled and analyzed time data
• Capacity calculations with clear assumptions
• Recommendations and visualizations of results
• Possible simulations to support decision-making

• Technical education (e.g., production technology, industrial economics, mechanical engineering, or similar)
• Basic understanding of production and flows
• Good analytical skills and interest in data
• Experience working structured with Excel or similar tools

• Experience in simulating production flows
• Knowledge of FlexSim or equivalent simulation tools
